The Foundation Vestingstad Maastricht takes care of the maintenance of the historic fortifications. We offer training opportunities for volunteers, organize tours and maintain contacts with other fortified towns and the Municipality of Maastricht. For 30 euros a year, you are a "Friend of the Fortress of Maastricht."
With this you support the activities of the Maastricht Fortress City Foundation. You can then participate in activities such as presentations/lectures and guided tours free of charge, and you will receive a digital newsletter twice a year with information about the Maastricht fortifications.
